Kirsten Cianci
VMD
Dr. Kirsten Cianci is our hospital's Medical Director. A 1988 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, she has been practicing in New Jersey since 1989, and has been at Allenwood since June 2000. On those rare instances that she is not at the office, she enjoys working outside in her gardens or reading a good science fiction book at the beach, weather permitting! She is also a devoted sports fan of the New York Giants, Rangers, and Mets. As such, she appreciates a challenge and has learned not to be too easily frustrated! She and her husband Curt, Medical Director at our sister hospital in Shrewsbury, have been married since 1989, despite the fact that he avidly follows Philadelphia sports.
Margo Simon
DVM
Margo Simon, DVM graduated from Ross University. She finished her clinical year at Colorado State University. After veterinary school, she completed a small animal internship at an emergency and referral center in San Diego, California. During her internship she worked with board certified specialists in cardiology, surgery, internal medicine, critical care, and radiology. She recently moved back to her home state of New Jersey to start her career as a general practitioner. Her special interests include soft tissue surgery and small animal medicine. Dr. Simon is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and is USDA certified. When Dr. Simon is not working she enjoys running, going to the beach, rooting for the NY Giants, and spending time with her two dogs Albert and Wilma and cat Zoey.
